Name: LOIS OMICK on Jul 28, 2003State: WICountry: USComments: This has to be the most outrageous thing I have read. The officer should be put on suspension and SHE should be taken to court. Can we all send her a letter to let her know what a despicable human being she is This was a Cocker Spaniel for God's sake, NOT a Pit Bull.Flag

Name: Robin Whitaker on Jul 31, 2003State: MICountry: USComments: It seems as if it a trend to place incompetent Police Officers in every state and city. How is it acceptable for them to jeopardize public safety when they draw their weapons and shoot at any dog Why aren''t they trained to use their pepper spray or they do also have batons. I hardly think a Cocker Spaniel threatened this officer's life. I send my deepest sympathies to his owner and hope that she receives justice for the ignorance of Officer Peavey. She is the menence the should not still be on the Police forc. I also feel that it is outrageous that after the murder of her dog, Sprite, that the owner received a ticket for him being unrestrained. Police Officers need to be reminded that they are not above the law themselves. Robin WhitakerFlag

How in the world can a little cocker spaniel possibly scare you so much that you shoot it That lady SHOULD NOT be on the force if she is that herartless and that scared!Flag
