Seems like they always choose the easy way out instead of taking two seconds to deescalate. Fix this policy before another family loses a best friend.
This makes me sick. I am terrified to walk my own dog now because you never know who is behind the badge and what they consider a threat. Keep pets safe.
Too many preventable deaths lately. Sad day for pet owners everywhere.
Total garbage. Justice for Sprite.
ABSOLUTELY HEARTBREAKING. The poor thing was probably just scared. Protect our companions this is NOT okay

My heart breaks for this poor dog. Its time for officers to get actual training on how to handle animals without reaching for their service weapon immediately.
