Sitting in on a Remembrance Day event is not the end of the world, it shows that you're thankful for what our troops have done and continue to do. Canada is one of the safest countries in the world thanks to those brave men and women - have some damn respect.

    Comments: I can not believe that schools are now saying that kids do not have to observe Remembrance Day due to religious beliefs! WTF! I don't care what a person's religious beliefs are, it;s NOT about religion! All soldiers should be honored and remembered. What the hell is happening in our schools? Its bad enough there is a NO LITTER policy in the lunch program, Halloween is optional and kids can't state Merry Christmas no more........RESPECT OUR FALLEN TROOPS, AND OUR COUNTRY! If not, get out and go back home to own country where you have no freedom!
