This petition is in light of recent findings regarding policies within Calgary and Edmonton public school boards. They currently allow parents to opt their children out of Remembrance Day ceremonies. This is a day to remember the troops as well as many others that have given their lives so that we could live with our freedoms that we are given today. Religion, sex, age, race, have no impact on this given situation.
