As one of the smallest (in population) and most diverse (in demographics) districts, District 1 is the city of San Antonio's urban core. It houses the most arts organizations, is home to the most small, local businesses, and hosts Fiesta and Luminaria without blinking an eye. More specifically, it's the district whose representative decided to update the city's non-discrimination ordinance. Boom. So, perhaps it's the district that can rename itself: "The District of Love and Acceptance." Which means, Jack M. Finger, you don't belong here. Hatred and meanness and anger belong in District 9, so this petition calls for the Relocation of Jack M. Finger to "The District of Disgust." No worries. We are the Love and Acceptance District, so lesbians with trucks will move your belongings, while gay dudes will decorate the hell out of your next house.
