Name: Eva on Jul 20, 2011Comments: I have a 1999 ford expedition first time the spark plug blew was in '07 my mechanics wanted to help me out by keeping the cost down so they did a patch on three of them. Well, just days ago had another pop luckily we were closer to home. Now it popped and took the fix so they can't even patch it so only thing to do is a new engine which I can't really afford but no choice need our car. I always loved FORD but now not a chance they don't care so I will move on to a better car company and FORD can take a hike.Flag

Name: James Williams on Jul 23, 2011Comments: I bought a 2002 expedition for my wife around about valentines day before last and when the weather got warmer about April my wife was sitting at a traffic light and started hearing a loud motorcycle noise and when the light changed with no lost of power she proceeded on her merry way. a couple of lights down the road she kept hearing the noise but saw no motorcycle. this made her pull over and open the hood to find the spark plug on top of the battery and the coil bouncing up in the hole. i thought it just wasn't tight so i reinstalled all new plugs on the passenger side. it was initially the #4 but the next time it was #2 and #3 and now its constantly #2 even after the head was machined. ford took our money on the bail-out and now they are jerking us just like the credit card companies. Ford is a class-act so lets class act them. if this happened to one of their private corporate jets they would be dead.Flag

Name: Gregory S. Bowden on Oct 11, 2011Comments: I Own a 2001 F150 4X4 Off Road Super Cab Triton V8 With 140,000 miles. This past Sunday October 9, 2011 I Was Driving To Work And Heard A Loud Pop And Making Loud Noises Like There Was A Hole In The Muffler. Had It Towed And The Mechanic Said The Spark Plug Blew Out Of The Head, Said This Has Been A Big Problem With Numerous Ford Truck Owners. So I did Some Research And Found Out That This Is A Very Big Problem And Ford Motor Co. Should Recall Millions Of Trucks And Fix Them. I will Probably File A Class Action Lawsuit Because Ford Has Been Aware Of The Defect And Has Done Nothing To Rectify It.Flag

Ford needs to recall these and fix them ASAP. It shouldn't b the customers responsibility for their mistake. They've been building motors long enough to know this was a mistake from the beginning!!! I will sign every petition I can findFlag

Name: Crystal on Mar 21, 2012Comments: I am TICKED at this, I just had all my plugs replaced and now this. In the past month and a half I have already sunk about $2 K into repairs on my truck, mostly minor things, but once it starts breaking down there is NO return. Today I blew a plug and will have to make the repair my self as I do not have the funds available to repair professionally. I see this is a HUGE problem with ford and there should be a recall, it is poor quality and there could be serious injuries caused by Fords lack of quality. Ford needs to make good on this.Flag
