On Saturday, April 24, 2010 we will protesting at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, CA.  Our goal is to bring attention to the negative effect captivity has on Orcas.  Amusement parks are no place for 10,000-pound apex predators.  Orcas deserve room to roam the open ocean, swim at 30mph, and travel up to 100 miles per day.  Swimming in circles, while roller coaster fly by, being forced to do mundane tricks for food is not a healthy environment for Orcas.  Shouka is without the company of a family, and will live half as long as he would in the wild.  Please join our cause to move towards a future without captive Orcas.  Please sign our petition, so we may pass on your desire to see Shouka live a better life.
