My brother Hussain Alzubaidy was held in immigration since last year we've been fighting to keep him here in The United States where he belongs since May, 2013. We are waiting for a response on his U-VISA application filled by his attorney.

We are a family of a detainee who is getting deported because he's not a U.S Citizen for allegedly getting mixed up with the wrong people. He is a beautiful person who carries a beautiful heart; he had a full time job working with the U.S army in rotation. Every Sargent in the army loved and respected him and even promoted him cause of the trust and respect he earned by showing them how responsible he is. Anyone can depend on him, he knows what he wants. He's a very smart helpful ambitious person full of potential but he just was at the wrong place at the wrong time, he went to the park to play soccer and got mixed up with the wrong people but we all know that my brother is innocent. My family needs him, he's the man of the house and the primary supporter of 7 members in his household, and we can't afford to have my brother deported to Iraq. It is very dangerous in Iraq and every day there are bombings and killing especially if it is heard and known that an Iraqi who lived out of the country almost his whole life they will fell like as if he was a spy and go after him till he's dead I can think of a million of ways how simple it is for my brother to be killed in Iraq and am sure that it will happen, so we're not willing to send my poor brother to his death, but despite all that if he is to be sent to Iraq the family has no choice but to return to the country with him. He has been here since approximately age 8, he doesn't even remember or know any of his family members there and we have nothing there. We were born in Iraq and left It 22 years ago we were still kids and never had the chance to go for a visit because of Iraq’s social/political instability, we hope to god that my poor brother won't have to get deported he was raised here all his life he isn't used to the life in Iraq, This is his home, this is his country. Why he continues to be detained and punished? Didn't he serve his time two years ago? He was tricked into signing the RICO ACT document. Hussain's home is here in the U.S with us and we won’t be separated without a fight especially since he worked with the U.S army to Iraq he's a dangerous enemy who cheated his country and replaced another country with his own country.
