My son Christopher was molested when he was 10 years old by a neighbor for almost a year. After years of being silent he began looking at child pornography on the Internet. He had a psychological evaluation by Doctor Jeffery Fracher in Charlottesville Va and concluded that jail would not help and showed he was not a predator and needed therapy to help him deal with his own abuse. Even though with the Dr.'s report Chris was sentenced to 14 years of prison. Chris was an outstanding citizen as he was on the fire department and rescue squad in Augusta County Va. He spent many hours doing public service and was highly involved in his youth group and was considered a leader. The only person he hurt was himself as he dissociated back to his own abuse. He has already served two years and we believe as well as Dr. Fracher that he is not a threat to society and that he needs the opportunity to deal with his molestation by a older teen age boy when he himself was just a small child.
