All candidates running in the May 23rd local elections are invited to sign this petition pledging their support to ALONE's housing campaign.
By signing this petition, you are stating that if elected, you will work within your Local Government to release unused properties and land to ALONE and other social housing providers, so that they can provide homes to the most vulnerable older people in our society.
Members of the public:
We ask that all members of the public query their local election candidates on what their plans are to tackle the housing crisis. Please also check to see which of you local candidates have pledged their support to our campaign.

I have been calling local offices all week to demand they look at these signatures. Seeing older neighbors still trapped in unsuitable housing is the only fuel I need to keep pushing for these candidates to take action.

Watching this movement grow reminds me of how much my own family struggled to find secure housing for my father. Seeing so many of you join this push for change gives me genuine hope that we can finally make things right for our older neighbors.
