Fortunately, some in the universities as elsewhere in our society have lacked this prudence, but - like Ward Churchill - they have generally paid a price for it. Now, more than ever - and whether we agree with all they say or not - they speak for all of us, and we must stand with them.

    Comments: This is a witch hunt plain and simple. I thought the first amendment was still in place. Looks like there are still those who would like to hush up anyone who thinks for themselves.     Comments: Abandon being a pawn for those who would strip critical voices for the pat on the head from the would-be power mongers. As a Tribal elder have deep respect for Ward.. Blood quantum is the kiss of death for our tribes. It seems that some of those calling themselves Tribal citizens cannot taste the poison you have given them to drink. Ward is a hero, one who tells the truth.
