| 306 | Clayton Barker | in order to heal the earth and its beings, we must honor the genocide on this land and those help us to remember the deep rooted sadness and pain. we shall overcome. thanks for helping us to remember Ward.
may the government corporation wake up to and consciously evolve. |

| 319 | Akinyele Umoja | The attack on Ward Churchill is a violation of academic freedom. It represents a dangerous trend in the contemporary United States. |

| 321 | Brian Scharf | I do not support the firing of Ward Churchill and am ashamed of being alumni to a university that could let such a thing happen. |

| 323 | Michael A. Lanigan | Shame on you Regents. Shame! The lowest form of censorship. As the immortal Archie Bunker would have said, "Go stifle yourselves," SHAME on you for bowing to political and economic pressure. |
| 324 | Eric Mann | If you do not like Mr. Churchill's politics, say so. That is both his first amendment right, and your right to disagree. Churchill is a courageous and brilliant scholar and you know it. Does he "overstate" the genocide inflicted upon Inigenous peoples? Is overstatement possible for one of the greatest crimes in human history. This is part of the Right's efforts to reinstitute McCarthyism and as Joseph Welch once asked Joe McCarty, "Sir, do you have no shame?" You should be truly ashamed of yourselves and reinstitute Mr.Churchill, a great and courageous and a voice in the wilderness of US crimes against humanity. I have little hope you will do the right thing, but I am hoping one voice among you will understand the outrageousness of the situation and stand up. There is little point in making films about McCarthyism as if back then no decent person, in restrospect, would participate in a witch hunt when it is happening in the present. We urge you to find your conscience as a prelude to voting your conscience and vote to reinstate Ward Churchill. |

| 333 | Jeff Israel | You can agree or disagree, with his statments. You can even be offended by his statments. But free spech is not something to stop when it is unpleasent. He was not investigated because of plegerism, inacuratly representing his ethinisity or academic misconduct. He was investigated, because he said something unpopular. If you read peoples comments who support the firering, most will contain the phrase, 'shamed the school'. Shame is not a reason for fireing someone. Academic freedom is a nesessity to have a school that teaches new ideas. It is not ment shelter us from thinking out side the norm. Free speach is not to protect us from things we want to hear. Free speach is ment to protect the things we don't want to hear.
Reisntate Churchill, or you will set the stage for all unpleasent thought to be censored. |

| 344 | Anonymous | As a graduate student and permanent resident of the United States, I am appalled by the decision made by the University Colorado's Board of Regent's to fire tenured professor Ward Churchill for his individual opinions. This debacle is a poor reflection of the University of Colorado and specifically its board of regents, whose suppression of free-speech reveals a blatant disregard for the values codified in the First Amendment and is closer in line with the educational commissars of the People's Republic of China. |
