I have a teenage daughter and a niece who lives with my husband and I and both are required to always dress like respectable ladies. This is one of the silliest petitions, dare I say it... ever First of all, this will never ever happen unless we find ourselves in a totalitarian regime of some sort. The fact is, there are more people who wish to dress as they like than there are people who do not want to see them that way. Also, your proposed changes are insanely altered from the status quo, which creates instability in society in general. What else Oh yes! People should act as they naturally ought to, and revere the raw form of the human body in order to prevent a general feeling of self-loathing and depression (we've gone through that already... Victorian Era) and allow the individual's sensible realization of the erotic (or often not erotic, naturally something to avoid) nature of the opposite sex in order to more effectively procreate. This shame that your odd belief system has bestowed upon your people may not be altogether wrong, but it is unnatural. People are animals, I cover up because it's cold out.     Comments: "Modesty" is defined by each culture in each age. African women bare their breasts. Strict Muslim women don't even show their hair, wrists and ankles. In North America, we are multi-cultural, multi-faith, and as such, have many different practices. I wear sleeveless shirts in summer so I can get through my day without fainting from heat exhaustion. But my breasts are never bared in the presence of anyone but women in a swimming pool change room, very briefly. And I dare you to find a more prudish or chaste woman than I, who is in her mid-30's. My bare arms have nothing to do with modesty. Neither do my shorts, which end above my knees. I suspect the true issue may be your own struggle with lust. God's original plan was to hang out in an organic garden with some naked vegetarians!

Schools and work places can impose a dress code, but Forcing people to wear certain things in public places like the street is against the constitution. Sorry to burst your bubble.
