Dear Students and Parents: Mike "ThePoet" Sonksen and his positivity breathed life into our school. He was not only the school's poet, but the perfect mentor. His obvious love for writing sparked a movement young poets, journalists, rappers, and prose writers. For those who believed writing wasn't for them, Mike helped them find the outlet that was best for them. Mike brought enthusiam to academics, something not just any teacher could do. Bring him back and together we will, "Fight the good fight with the View Park Knights!"
