Reinstate Osborn Elementary Teachers

117 Signatures Goal: 600

We, the residents of Rye City School District, petition the Rye City Board of Education to reinstate the teachers placed on administrative reassignment following the superintendent's announcement on May 24, 2013 that a parent had informed them of possible testing irregularities with regard to the New York State Standardized Tests for English Language Arts and Mathematics.

Specifically we respectfully request that RCSD immediately withdraw their "allegations" to New York State Education Commission for want of probable cause, respectfully request that RCSD immediately reinstate the reassigned Osborn teachers for want of probable cause, and should RCSD still wish to pursue this further, we respectfully request that it does so in the proper fashion.

Failure to reinstate these Osborn teachers will result in depriving Osborn students of two exemplary teachers, continuing to sully their reputation without probable cause, and potentially cost the residents of Rye millions in litigation fees.
