Name: Trudy Huffman on Feb 1, 2013Comments: I do not understand this at all. My daughter is taking AP Psych, but it's the only class she has that carries thru each semester, so it hasn't affected her like it would a student taking more than one similar class. Stats and another math class were recently turned into '2 semester' classes, but she had already taken those. It may be the same class, but due to the nature of the class it should be worth a full credit each semester.Flag

Comments: I am Bryan Veals Coach, please allow him to compete it means a lot to him and his family. This family has gone thru a lot of hardship as Bryan has had to see his mom fight back from Cancer twice and recently they just found out she has it again. Running means the world to Bryan and his mom. Give him the opportunity to race again!Flag -

Name: Jack Brunecz on Feb 2, 2013Comments: If these year-long classes are often AP or college level courses, they should definitely be weighted heavier. So if this student were to have opted out of a higher level year-long course and would have taken a semester-long course of some cooking or dance class, then they would be eligible? Something doesn't add up and needs to be addressed.Flag

Name: Brent J Nix on Feb 2, 2013Comments: Tragically this decision will effect him and his team mates efforts on the swim team who have already qualified for Regionals tomorrow morning. Shame on the staff for not identifying this till the very last moment. It will now have a direct and negative result for Bryan and the entire team! Shame...Flag

Name: Rev Dr Richard Graf on Feb 5, 2013Comments: Athletics takes too much away from academics as it is. Having the cart drive the horse is a cancer in our educational system. Those who seek to work harder in order to excel academically, and also enjoy, and/or need, athletics for college scholarships should certainly not be penalized.Flag
