Jared Storoshenko has been apart of the West Islip Swim Club for the last three years. We feel his recent firing is unfair, and far from a unanimous decision. Coach Jared is highly thought of by all of his swimmers. Over the last three years he has created a team that feels more like a family and a pool that feels more like a home. Jared's practice's are tough, but motivating and he truly cares about the goals of each individual on the team. Jared's departure has made many swimmers feel like they have no choice but to leave as well. We want to keep West Islip the strong united team it's always been, and the only way to do that is to rehire Coach Jared.
