Bay area housing is on a very extreme trend with regard to rest of the nation. Government needs to regulate the prices before it is too late.
This can be taken care by promoting more public transport and metros to cities like san ramon. There is no lack of land in bay area sub-urbs. This kind of situation will cause increasing unrest and crime.
More funding and good infrastructure for public transport will drastically improve the daily commute in bay area suburbs
