My aim is to gather enough signatures so we can ask the legislature to enact laws that are current and address the needs and the concerns of the community, today. Online Review Websites, make millions of $Dollars every year and they need to be held accountable to the general public and there needs to be more oversight of how they maintain their websites. Once an Online Review Website, interferes with the content posted and exercises editorial control over the content in any way, that website should be held to regulation and should not be allowed to hide behind 400 year old "Freedom of Speech" laws that we all need and cherish. Reviews posted by "anonymouse" writers or AKA's should not be allowed, after all once execrising the constitutional right to speak and voice our opinions, whie enjoying the full protection of the law, why should we have to hide? Online Review Websites, need to be a platform for honest content that eminates from genuine experience that would indeed help the public make more informed opinions and choices about businesses and not malicious attacks and/or lies to damage the reputation of anyone. A true statement is what the Online Review Websites should seek and only allow, gossip, rumors, heresay and outright lies should not be. The integrity of the internet is just as important as any other medium, if not more so today. We need, accurate and honest information, not child's play. Today the Online Review Websites are being used more and more, to harm and exact revenge, this needs to stop. Therefore, we need your help to gather signatures for submission to the legislature.
