Comments: There is no legal reason for why a tax-paying U.S. citizen should be denied the rebate unless marrying a non-citizen is now considered a crime. Is the rebate designed to provide economic relief or is simply a political ploy I ask that you please do the right thing and support your fellow Americans--both civilian and military--who have been a demied this rebate. Thank you.

Comments: I am a Legal Permanent Resident, so called Green Card holder. I married to the love of my life almost 4 years ago. Because of the Immigration mess my husband is still in Bulgaria. He is using ITIN and we are filing taxes jointly. Now aging we are punished for following the rules of America. Thank you,

Comments: I am a Legal Permanent Resident who is separated from his wife because of the ridiculous immigration law. As if that was not enough to penalize people like us now we are shorted for the rebate check too Is this the price we should pay for obeying the law while millions of illegals use the benefits that my family is denied using my tax dollars

Comments: My husband and I are involved in the legal immigration process and my family has been here since the late 1500's (yes, before the Mayflower) yet we are penalized. We both pay taxes and have ever since we were 18 years old. Now we are mid- to late-twenties and the government doesn't want to reward us for our faithfulness in taxpaying. We won't get the stimulus but we will have to pay for it in the future.

Comments: All of us that are following the laws to have our husbands/fiance's here in the U.S legally are being punished, Why For finding love outside the U.S. That's what myself and others are feeling like. Some of our s/o 's have a SSN and are working legally just like the rest of us here in the states if not more. We have the right to receive whatever any other resident receives if they have a SSN. That's the way I feel.
