Name: Colin Nunn on May 22, 2004Comments: If the father ignores a court directive all hell is broke loose, while the mother can basically do anything without repercussion. This is so very wrong and needs to change in this alleged civilised world.Flag

Everyone knows the motivation behind them and the devasting effect on the children of the world.Flag

Name: Derek Whitbread on May 24, 2004Comments: Too many non-resident parents and their children are being deprived of a loving relationship because the resident parent is above the law. How many children in years to come will be suing the legal system because it let them downFlag

Name: Shalin Tandon on May 24, 2004Comments: Not only is the non-enforcement of Contact Orders by the secretive UK Family Courts harassment against the non-resident parent but a wholesale abuse of the rights of the child to know both his parents, and contrary to merely the lip-service paid to the statement in the 1989 Children Act "in the best interests of the child". It is entirely perverse that a Resident parent (mainly mothers)can be sent to jail for not paying her tv license fee as well as allowing her children off school for no good reason (and as a result UK national truancy rates have fallen)but no action is effected against her if she deliberately and willfully removes a non-resident parent(mainly fathers)from a child`s life, bringing the legal system into disrepute. Who will respect a legal system that fails to enforce its own Orders Disgraceful!!!Flag
