Name: Philip Mills on May 21, 2004Comments: Im a Dad who at the moment is only allowed ten hours parenting time with my daughter every 3 weeks. This I have gained through the family courts. This is a dad who has done nothing wrong except to be involved in the break up of a relationship. Why should my daughter, her sisters, myself and her wider family be penalised for this. I don't even want 50 / 50 in my case (but believe this should be the norm to start with) and am happy for her mum to be the main carer. However, 10 hours is absymal and unfair. We should not be treated this way just because the mother is hostile towards me which in my opinion is child abuse to our daughter.Flag

Name: Ed Barnett on May 21, 2004Comments: Until April 2003 I never believed that such injustice against (mainly) fathers, and children was possible in the UK - let alone that it is so blatant! This needs change before our children, the future of our nation, are irreversibly harmed; and the nation suffers.Flag
