Name: Sylvia Thomas on May 17, 2004Comments: I as a mother think it is ridiculous how contact orders are continually being breached. When a mother breaks contact nothing seems to be done about it, i.e she is threatend with police action but nothing is ever done, whereas if the dad does the same the police are at his door within hours, sorry not all dads are treated so badly. Why bother with contact orders at all because who is there to police them I could go on forever about the family law misconduct. Please sort out this situation soon for the sake of the children involved, two parents are better than one.Flag

Name: Eugene Taylor on May 18, 2004Comments: Parenting is a dual responsibility irrespective of circumstances. The love a child has for a parent is unconditional. Who are we to allow others to flaunt that right! This generation of child and teenager is confused and without balance or adequate leadership and strength, no matter it's hat, we will have chaotic, irresponsible adults in the future. Does the legislative assembly really know the pain a parent feels when denied the right to have some positive infleunce on a child Trust me, the pain is the worst sentence a person can be handed down. I would rather I was not divorced but hanged! The sentence would be less harsh, less soul destroying, less damaging to the child and less expensive. NO to flaunting regulations and orders NO MATTER WHAT SEX.Flag
