We are writing on behalf of all Moroccans living in the USA to express our sincere and deep concerns about Royal Air Maroc (RAM), a public company, inflated costs of airline tickets from the United States to Morocco. We, the Moroccan fellows, are asking the government of Morocco to think seriously about resolving this issue that affects individuals and families who take trips to Morocco to visit relatives and friends in the country that they love. The prices of RAM’s tickets are outrageous. The challenges to get a decent flight to Morocco are numerous; first, limited number of flights originating from different cities in the USA, second, the price is extremely high considering the distance between New York to Morocco, compared to other international flights. Having a family with several children has made it virtually impossible for my family and me to travel every year to Morocco because of the logistics and cost. We are asking the government of Morocco to find a reasonable way to reduce the cost of RAM tickets and to add more flights from different destinations in the United States in order to facilitate and reduce time and money so all the Moroccan families in the USA can afford to make annual trips to Morocco. Lower rates from USA to Morocco, will not only make travel more affordable and feasible for Moroccans living in the US, it will most likely help to increase revenues from tourism. Please seriously consider reducing the costs of RAM airline tickets from the United States to Morocco. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely,
