changes to red diesel regulations

AS FROM OCTOBER 2008 ALL USERS OF RED DIESEL,FARMERS ,PLANT OPPERATORS,BOAT USERS BOTH COMMERCIAL,CHARTER AND PRIVATE WILL BE REQUIRED BY LAW DICTATED BY EUROPE TO PAY THE GOVERMENTS FULL DUTY OF ANOTHER 54p. AT PRESENT IT IS 7.68.ALTHOUGH SOME OPERATORS CAN RECLAIM THEIR DUTY THIS WILL UNDOUBTEDLY CAUSE CASH FLOW PROBLEMS TO SMALL BUISSNESS USERS.IT WILL HAVE A DEVASTATING EFFECT ON THE BOAT BUILDING AND FISHING INDUSTRY EVEN DOWN TO MAGAZINES.
