For the last few years I have noticed that I barely have enough garbage to warrant a weekly pick up. Conversely, the recycling is overflowing in less than a week's time, yet the town of Mt Pleasant, SC picks up recycling every other week. It is time to change with the times. By swapping the frequency (recycling pick up 1 per week, garbage pick up 1 every 2 weeks), I feel the community would be served better. This will also be an incentive for those who throw recycling in the garbage.
