"[…]It was amazing how many hits the site got in such a short period of time and is obviously something that is needed… Students obviously want this forum but do we want the anonymity? We are currently trying to figure out what open forum we can set up and the Student Council might be the best way to do this…" Quote from an email sent to the SIS community. With all due respect, the whole point of SIS Secrets is that it was unregulated by the School and its anonymity allowed us all to say what we really thought, despite the casualness and/or importance of the issues people raised. I suspect that most of us would be unwilling to freely speak (as we did on SIS Secrets) on a "forum" that would, in the end, be inevitably under the control of the School and the shadow of its authority. Here's to the Administrators of the now taken down page formerly known as SIS Secrets. We hope that someone will take up the mantle and recreate the spirit of SIS Secrets, preferably AWAY from the School authorities, and that the School can acknowledge and respect our need for freedom in such an outlet.
