As Independent Sales Directors and Consultants for Mary Kay Cosmetics we would like to voice our opinion of the way that our recognition has changed in the current Applause magazine and Ovation publication. In the past the Applause magazine included monthly recognition of New Sales Directors, New Cadillac qualifiers, Gold Medals, Fabulous 50\'s, etc. This recognition has since moved to the Ovation publication that is now available online. We would like to see the recognition portion back in the Applause magazine monthly, or if it stays in the Ovation publication to receive that publication monthly and by mail. We are motivated by seeing others success as well as our own - as it encourages us that we can do it too. Now that the recognition is quarterly and done online, it is really not recognition at all. Our names are lumped into large catagories and it seems very impersonal. Most of us, when we receive our Applause magazine look at the reognition portion before the information sections. As independent contractors we are proud to be a part of this incredible company with a rich heritage of recognition. We are requesting your attention to reveiwing this matter.
