If you feel that our School Board did not act in the interest of our children, the time has come to make a stand. Lets make sure that our ELECTED officials, those charged with REPRESENTING US, act in the best interest of Webster Parish and our children. If the issue of consolidation is truly based on preventing a $5 million per year budget deficit, then our school board has the responsibility to look at the numbers, conduct studies on the economic and social impacts of their decisions, and vote accordingly.

ive been reading through your comments and it is clear that so many of you are just as frustrated as i am about how these decisions are being made. im spending my time pulling together more information on the real impact of this consolidation so we can show the board exactly why they got it wrong. stay tuned because i plan to bring all of this directly to the next meeting.

THEY DONT CARE ABOUT WEBSTER PARISH. JUST NUMBERS ON A PAGE.
Unbelievable. My kids are going to be stuck on a bus forever. Fix this mess.
so tired of them making decisions behind closed doors without telling us how it will effect our families. recall them all.
they need to show us the real math before they start tearing apart our schools. transparency is non existent here.

This is ridiculous. They arent thinking about the kids or the commute times at all. Do your jobs!
