We, the members of the Napa Valley Community and interested musicians from throughout the greater Bay Area encourage the Napa Valley Symphony Board of Directors and the Napa Valley Symphony Endowment Fund Board of Directors to work together to avoid filing Chapter 7 Bankruptcy and/or dissolution. We support efforts of the NVS Musicians to revitalize the NVS through a new board of directors and new management. The Napa Valley needs and deserves a professional symphony orchestra. Declaring bankruptcy or dissolution will simply make the effort of bring back a professional orchestra much more difficult. We strongly urge the NVS Board of Directors to avoid this action and work with the Musicians in an effort to re-organize for a successful future.
