Mundesley is a village on the North Norfolk Coast that suffered damage in the recent Storms. One of the main access routes to the beach was rendered unusable and while repair work is being carried out elsewhere the Trafalgar Court path remains out of service.
Please sign this petition to encourage the authorities to repair and reopen it, as without it one of the finest beaches in Norfolk is out of bounds to many users.
Along with the reasons already mentioned, it's dangerous as it is! It's the most convenient access to the beach for a large percentage of us. I obviously wouldn't dream to, but i'm sure people are still using the path as it is!
This beach access path is absolutely essential for villagers and holiday makers particularly those on the links road chalet and camp sites. Tesco will suffer a loss in trade in the summer so perhaps they should be approached to finance the repair as they often support local communities. At the moment the bottom of the path looks like a war zone with dangerous metal and concrete sections sticking up to injure anyone foolish enough to climb down the cliff. It is only a matter of time before someone is seriously injured.
it needs to be rebuilt and inproved or u will loose little by little of our lovly coastline.
