Name: Anonymous on Mar 16, 2007Comments: It's been over 3 months since I sent my fully completed forms to OnRebate (11/30/06 sent). The rebate was accepted on 1/17/06. I am still waiting for payment. I have called several times but been put on hold with and without music and indication that there is still a connection for over 25 minutes. One time I went out to lunch and came back and was still on hold. I have not been able to speak to a person. According to the website, the rebate was accepted. But it's now 3/16/07 and still no payment sent. Shameful!Flag

Name: Anonymous on Mar 19, 2007Comments: I fell prey to their scam. I sent all rebate information as required and had my PO Box listed as a return address. I do not receive mail at my street address and they refused payment because TigerDirect shipped my merchandise to a house number. They have all the information to show/identify me as the purchaser but have denied payment. Since then I have received emails repeatedly from TigerDirect with "loyalty discount" offers on the same type of merchandise. It seems to be well known that these two companies are the same and their rebate system is a SCAM! I buy a lot of computer equipment and this is the last time I will ever approve TigerDirect as a vendor.Flag

Today I contacted CNN to see if they'll do anything with this scam operation. I'll try to keep everyone up to date. ThanksFlag

Name: Jack on Mar 23, 2007Comments: I recieved my rebate check today but the scams are still in play. The amount that they sent was less one dollar because I paid them a fee for a NO WAIT REBATE process which is supposed to be paying 3-5 days from approval which was nearly 10 weeks ago. What a scam, if they take a dollar from most people and send out the money the original way then they have scammed alot of money out of people who probably won't bother argueing about. What a scam! They've got more angles then you can shake a stick at. People don't agree to giving them any money for faster payment, it won't work. JackFlag

Name: Scott MacGregor on Mar 27, 2007Comments: I too was a victim of Tigerdirect's "rebate/Onrebate" scam. They effectively stole 75.00 from me, and refuse to pay what they owe me due to "lost or missing paperwork" on their part. The sheer number of Americans they are stealing from and lying to should interest the FTC and other Federal and State agencies. They need to go Down.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Mar 27, 2007Comments: OnRebate is the biggest scam I have ever witnessed. I have never received a penny from them even after an email from them saying rebate was accepted and check was on the way. Multiple phone calls with no action from them. This is a FRAUD. We need protection from FTC!!Flag

Excuses range from "Our system is messed up", which is astounding to me as a .NET programmer.... Please do something about this company they are a complete ripoff.. Too bad for TigerDirect too as that will be the last business they get from me.Flag

Name: Jack on Apr 3, 2007Comments: I am disapointed that I needed to come to this conclusion. In reading so many complaints about being scammed I really thought there would've been more particpation. I found alot of apathy here by many people. The number of signature on the petition that I worked so hard in creating to help individuals that have been abused have been poor at best. Even the RIPOFF REPORT forum's managment didn't post some of my material that could've had more impact on this topic. Due to the lack of interest by the victims, I'm withdrawing my fight against Tiger Direct (AKA) Onrebate. GOOD LUCK TO ALL JackFlag

Name: Anonymous on Jan 11, 2008Comments: I bought a monitor from TigerDirect that was supposed to have a $40 rebate. I mailed the UPC code as "Rebate Processing Center" requested. They sent me a card stating the UPC submitted does not qualify. I have tried to contact the 1-866-871-3617 number on the card repeatedly and it is busy. The rebate represents 21% of the price I paid, which is what drove me to buy this monitor. Is this a scamFlag
