Name: MR STUART M SHIPPAM on Jun 13, 2007Comments: I apologize for my previous comments , I thought the sign was for " the green " not for " rearsby ". my opinion on the subject remains the same and also as what to do with the sign . Regards ........ stewybabyFlag

Name: Ron And Joan Billings on Jun 14, 2007Comments: Why put it in the middle of the village People know where they are, surely it needs to go on the main road at the entrance to the villageFlag

Name: Danielle Walsh on Jun 15, 2007Comments: Why won't the Parish Council listen to the vies of the villagers they represent and reconsider the location for the village sign. I am sure none of the members of the Parish Council would wish to look out of their windows at the back of an 11ft wooden sign everyday!!!!Flag

Name: Mr Simpkin on Jun 15, 2007Comments: I do not agree with a 5 ft sign to be positioned on the village green. This will block the view of many Brookside residents, it would be far better to place it at the village hall.Flag

Name: Sue Warner on Jun 22, 2007Comments: IT IS AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE THAT THE PARISH COUNCIL & ESPECIALLY THE CHAIRMAN IS NOT LISTENING TO THE PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN THE VILLAGE. HOW RUDE!! THIS SIGN WILL TOTALLY TAKE AWAY THE RUSTIC AND BEAUTIFUL AMBIENCE AND TRADITONAL FEEL OF THE VILLAGE GREEN.Flag

Name: Tom Bristow on Jan 27, 2012Comments: It is inappropriate for anything to be placed on the village green; it remains an open space as it has been for centuries. The £3000 should be split between the school and the church; a committee should be established to ensure that all green areas are protected and not subjected to 'development' of any nature, especially unnecessary signage that would ruin the beautiful aspect. Does it make sense? No. Please be more imaginative with your ideas. T. Bristow Rearsby resident 1972-1988Flag
