608 Thomas GallegosAs a native Kansan serving abroad it gives me great pleasure to ask Gov. Sebelius to please give her full support to this measure. These wonderful people are very deserving to get the funding so they to can continue in their growth and helping lead Kansas into the future.

612 T erri NorgrenWithout the full funding, of the continued services that are currently available formy daughter her quality of live and the ability to live an independent live is in jeopardy. Would you want that for your son or daugher? To not have the ability to have friends, to have a job and be an independent person, I think not. So please make this a priority for our state.

628 Barbara ShepardI work with the developmentally disabled. You are right about the hard work and low pay leads to turnover and staff shortages and poor staff. I have been told when asking about another staff. "There a body."

643 Patricia GoodmanIt seems that when there are cuts to the budget the people that need the help the most, people with disabilities, are the first to be cut. The budget cuts for 2008 include a lot of programs and services for the disabled. These are our most vulnerable citzens and we should be increasing their benefits not cutting them. They are the ones that are unable to provide for themselves and we are punishing them for it with budget cuts.
