Comments: Please give us a good girl lead! No barbie bodies, no short skirts, just a real, solid, strong girl. No flakes.

Comments: Please! My daughter loves Jessie from Toy Story, and I just hate feeling like I have to explain why there's not a movie about her... Don't any of you have daughters?

Comments: This has bothered me from film ONE. I KNEW this trend would develop. I am continually disapointed that such amazingly done, intelligent and wonderfully addictive films do not represent the majority of the population's gender. I see Pixar striving to create African American, Asian American, overweight and other diverse characters that represent the world, and I wonder- where's the WOMEN?

Comments: I can't believe it's 2010 and this is still happening! Pixar, you of all companies, have the power to change things! Don't you want your daughters and sons growing knowing that women are important too?

Comments: p.s. liked Princess and the Frog better, but still the message is that a woman without a man is not complete. Likewise, it is great that the new Tinkerbell is an engineer, but in the lost treasure her apparently less talented boyfriend has to save her (he is annoying). Plus, they are both so Barbie-shaped. My girls are gorgeous, but that should not be their primary identity. These are Disney movies, but I understand Pixar and Disney are merged? Anyway, a Pixar style movie with strong female characters is in order.

Comments: I love this idea. My friends and i talk about this all the time. We always see beautiful girls falling in love with cute guys or not so cute guys falling in love with beautiful girls. where are the ordinary girls falling in love with cute guys? give every girl a chance to see that they can get swept off their feet by anyone.

Comments: As a psychology professor at a women's college, I struggle to help my students break through the gender, race, class, and sexuality stereotypes to which our culture clings, and make something more of themselves than the stereotypes allow. Seeing strong female role models - even in animation - and cheering them on as they right wrongs and take control of their lives teaches a much more positive lesson than "boys get the adventures, girls get saved" messages of many animated features. I adore Pixar films and the endearing characters... but can't you please give us some girls and women to love? BTW, how many women work for you in creative and administrative positions?
