| 1015 | Deneille David | I would love to see a positive female lead in a new cartoon. I have a 2 year old boy who loves both Dora and Diego, so I know he would be happy to watch a female lead. Just remember to have a good story and a few catchy songs! |

| 1017 | beth ann morhardt | As an aunt, a woman and a professional who works in the primary prevention of sexual violence, I strongly encourage you to create storylines and characters for BOTH young men and young women that show that each has the potential for positive life skills and each group is able to be uniquely themselves without having to fulfill some hollow stereotype of who the world says they should be. Your company is a powerful and well-known one already, but imagine what could happen to it if you started creating characters who spoke to who young boys and girls REALLY are?? You could empower them to discover their true selves instead of having to rescue someone else or be rescued... |

| 1026 | Shelba Bauermeister | I have 2 daughters who as kids, played baseball, rode bikes, fell off bikes (and broke 2 front teeth), climbed trees and went to slumber parties and played dress up. They both grew up into beautiful strong women and one is now raising 2 girls who play soccer, love playing dress up, love the sports on Wii, "train Pokemon critters" (whatever that means.. :D ). This time of year, the emphasis on male characters is very clear. Try taking a little kid shopping for a Halloween costume. For girls, you will find Princesses out the wazoo, Fairies, witches and butterflies. For boys, there are all kinds of superheroes, vampires, cowboys, animals, robots, and any number of movie characters.
Please consider making more female characters
and let then tell their stories. Little girls need heroes, as much as little boys. George Lucas gave adult SW fans more female characters - there are female bounty hunters and female pilots in his Star Wars prequels - now how about some lead girl characters for our girls with skinned knees? |

Show us how to really "keep moving forward"! |
