We oppose the late-walk-in protest scheduled to take place at Cleveland Browns Stadium on November 16th because a massive rebuilding project like the one needed in Cleveland with the Browns is something that requires patience and good faith. Impatience is easy, and so is complaining. To be sure, Browns fans have had as much to complain about as any fanbase in sport thanks to Randy Lerner's failed leadership. But now -- when we finally appear to have a head coach in place who's trying to fill the leadership vacuum -- is not the time to complain. It's time to let the coach do his job. To effectively demonstrate our good faith and patience toward Eric Mangini and his reconstruction efforts, as well as our recognition that difficult jobs can take time, and our support for our Cleveland Browns during a difficult time, we hope that Browns fans will show up early on November 16, and cheer their lungs out at kickoff. Even better, bring a white towel or shirt to wave at kickoff. We understand that there are circumstances where a real fan might miss kickoff, but November 16 at Cleveland Browns Stadium is not the time or place. See the links at the sidebar for more detailed explanations of why you should join us at kickoff at Cleveland Browns Stadium on Monday, Nov. 16. And please sign this petition if you support this effort, whether you'll be at the game or not. Thanks, and go Browns.
