After the profound effect of the replacement referee's poor performance in the first three weeks of the NFL season, we the fans petition the NFL to come to an agreement with the professional referees. The product we have come to love is being greatly tarnished by the NFL's greed and unwillingness to meet the reasonable demands of professional officials. Despite our oft expressed distaste with professional referees, their absence has challenged the integrity of the game we love. Furthermore, our fantasy teams are being directly affected by the questionable calls and rather slow pace of game produced by the replacement officials. This is our formal petition asking those involved with the negotiations to please come to terms with the professional referees and reestablish the level of competition we came to know.
