This is a petition asking Capcom to release Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition for PC. If you're interested in buying a PC release of RE5: GE then please sign this petition! With enough signatures, Capcom might just take notice.
Note that you don't need to sign with your real name, a nickname is acceptable. You do need to write an email address, but it isn't shown or used for anything (besides confirming you're a unique signer).
If you want some good reasons why it would be good for both gamers and Capcom to have RE5: GE on PC, then read on!
Why would you, the gamer, care about a RE5:GE PC release? Well, there's a few key reasons why this would be exciting: PCs are now far ahead of console hardware, and even 3-4 year old PCs can enjoy RE5 at 1080p@60fps. It's also possible to use any controller you wish (keyboard/mouse, PS3 gamepads, 360 gamepads and etc). It would also give people in the community more freedom in how to create new content for the game (which has already been done with the normal release, like new mercenaries stages or playing as Jill and Wesker in story mode).
Why would Capcom care about a RE5:GE PC release? Considering RE5 was already released for PC and the engine used (MT Framework) has PC as primary target platform, that means a port would be cheap for Capcom to make. The original RE5 release on PC most likely only sold up to 150k or 200k copies, which means there's a large amount of PC gamers who hasn't bought the game yet.
If Capcom ported and released RE5: Gold Edition at a budget price, that would encourage new players to take a look, and it would still be affordable for owners of normal RE5 to upgrade to the new release. It would also encourage PC gamers to keep following the series knowing that Capcom is supporting it.
To summarize: Pretty please Capcom release RE5: Gold Edition for PC!
thats not fare only console editio can play .
make it happen, Capcom !
Please bring Resident Evil 5 Gold to PC I've been waiting for so long!
