The silence from Oracle remains heavy but the technical burden of maintaining these workflows without official tools is becoming impossible for many of us. I am spending my evenings gathering documentation to prove exactly why we need this functionality returned to the platform. We are exhausted by the lack of response yet the necessity of this work keeps me at the keyboard.

Reaching this level of support has been a long road and I am drained but still pushing forward regardless. It is clear that the need for Ruby support is not going away. We keep going.

There are many of us that program in Ruby and also love NetBeans. Why did you drop ruby support in the first place - you support PHP and a bunch of other languages. what gives?
I love working with Java on Netbeans, recently I startred developing in ruby, RoR. Please include the support from future versions.
I used to develop Java softwares in Netbeans successfully. I would like to have Ruby support in Netbeans now I started working with Ruby on Rails.
I already use NetBeans for PHP, would love to be able to use it for Ruby on Rails as well, specially since i'm working on some big-ass project that uses both.
Seems misguided to dump Ruby support; especially since jRuby is a first-class JVM language.
Love to see Ruby support in NB to be continued! I'm working with JRuby-9.
Существует не так мног ide для ruby. Мы хотим это назад.

As a noob, I cannot find great solid out f the box IDEs for my ruby programming. If NetBeans were to bring back the support, that would really be much appreciated...
