Without warning or explanation Facebook have disabled the personal Facebook account of the developer of the free browser extension F.B. (Fluff Busting) Purity, and also it's Fan Page, which had over 36,000 fans around the world.

F.B Purity enables Facebook users to clean the junk from their newsfeed, customise Facebook and generally make it less annoying to use, including a solution to disabling the controversial and extremely unpopular new Facebook Timeline feature. Many users have stated that they only continue using Facebook because of the functionality F.B. Purity provides.

The developer has done nothing wrong, and Facebook will not answer emails or explain what it is he has supposed to have done.

By disabling his account, he has been cut off from accessing his family and friends and over 4 years worth of online memories, messages and photos etc. And by disabling the Fan Page for F.B. Purity, they've undone all the work he has put in to growing such a large fan base in the first place, and stopped those facebook users from getting support and the latest news about the extension.

He has now started a new fan page at Google Plus, but its going to take a long time to rebuild the fan base. I think this is a cautionary tale to Facebook Page owners, and Facebook users in general that their accounts can be taken away without any warning, explanation or recourse. 

This petition is to let Facebook know that we the under signed strongly disagree with what they have done, and demand that the FB Purity developer's account re-enabled, as he has done nothing wrong.
