    Comments: I am ashamed that our national police force would be so irresponsible as to send out a 20-year old officer alone on a call. Regardless or the training he'd received, there is no excuse for abandoning one of your own. From the Commissioner to the Superintendant to his commanding officer - you are to blame for creating the circumstances of this officer's murder. My heartfelt condolences to the family of Doug Scott. May he be the last officer to die in so pointless a manner.

    Comments: I have a friend who is undergoing training for the RCMP and I pray nothing happens to him. I have met his family and he has a beautiful son and fiancee. My heart goes out to all those who have lost someone in the line of duty.

    Comments: no officer should be allowed out on ANY calls alone. i have a family member up north and it seems like worrying only gets harder. higher more officers. there should be no excuses when it comes to saving a human life. please make it a bit safer for our sons and daughters to go out there and serve there country and make it a safer for them at least. very dissappointed in staffing up north especially.
