Name: Jim Holyoak on Aug 31, 2010Comments: Hello, I've just called RBC and lodged a complaint about their investment in Alberta tar sands projects, and I'm about to go to my local branch and close my account. I don't understand how RBC can claim to be a 'green' bank while financing the most environmentally destructive and unsustainable oil source on Earth. RBC's participation in the tar sands is all the more inexcusable for the harm they are causing to First Nations people who live in Northern Alberta. I myself am from BC, and am completely terrified by their Enbridge plan to build a pipeline to the coast. The thought of super tankers loaded with oil in BC waters is sickening, and in my opinion, definitely not worth the risk. I am asking you to please consider ending your relationship with RBC. Sincerely, Jim HolyoakFlag

Name: Bonnie Dortman on Apr 7, 2013Comments: RBC is also replacing employees with foreign workers. These employees are forced to train foreign workers to take over their jobs. The only way to stop this nonsense is to refuse to do business with this bank through a public boycott...please switch to another financial institution.Flag

Name: Maureen Amu on Apr 7, 2013Comments: What RBC has done in regards to outsourcing is disgusting and it has finally prompted me to do something. Canadians can not sit back and watch any more. Now is the time to let these financial bullies know that this is not going to be allowed any more. We will speak with one voice and one vote at the next election.Flag
