    Comments: Wal Mart is not the same Wal Mart that Sam Walton created..... they destroy local mom and pop businesses, create more trash for the landfills with cheap made in china crap that breaks as soon as you use it, takes good manufacturing jobs from the US, and they also do not treat their workers well or pay them a living wage, as well as getting out of providing benefits to their workers. Wal Mart also draws the criminal element to our area with the closing of the supercenter at Bannister, and the old location at Blue Ridge and 350 Hiway. This is not good for the Apple Markets or HyVee either.

    Comments: I support WalMart's right to do business, but I do not support an over abundance of WalMart's within my community. I currently do not shop at the WalMart on 350hwy now because of the TIF and how they run out small businesses and how they treat their employees. If WalMart is not outright refused to build in the green space, I will not vote for anyone currently in on the board of Alderman nor the Mayor.
