We, the undersigned, argue that regulations should not limit the ability of friends to purchase and deliver raw milk to friends in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Our position on the proposed changes to the raw milk regulations outlawing buying clubs: Any change to the regulation should clearly state that raw milk consumers can designate an agent to pick up their milk for them. Just as the responsibility for safe transport is entrusted to the consumer when they leave the farm with their milk, so should that responsibility be entrusted to an agent.
