Please help me.. I heard on the news about a little girl who was raped. The ring leader was 15 years old. They D.A. wanted to try the kid as an adult because of the brutality of the rape. The rapist plead guilty and will be sent to juvinelle hall. He will be release when he is 18. As a victim in the past I feel that is too soon. 3 years? Well to me that is not enough. I feel that rape should be in the same catagory as murder. Let me explain. When you are raped, a HUGE part of your life is taken away. They say there are theropist for that, yet you have to pay. How fair is that. You are the victim. Let me ask you. If it was your daughter/son, how would you feel? The rapist should be punished to the fullist extent of the law; regardless of the age. Please if you understand anything that I have said lets all stand together and help this little girl out. She didn't deserve what she got handed to her, and he definately doesn't deserve to be released. Please help her, lets all send the court a message that RAPE is NOT okay... Sincerely, Julia Carman
