My proposal is entered for Jan. 2014 I Pray it will be a proposal accepted in the State of Illinois, and consideredfor review as another gift of Justice for victims/survivors of Rape/Sexual Assault/Molestation. I have a sponsor and want to bring forth in Illinois State Capitol that Rape/Sexual Assault/ Molestation is a violent act of a premeditated crime. A perpetrator never flips out in a public place and begins attacking his/her prey. He/she has a premeditated thought of the act of violence in a secluded area where he/she would wait, hide, followa preyand at the right time for the perpetrator he would then devour his/her prey in violence. A perpetrator who drinks alcohol or a victim who drinks alcoholor anybody in this world that drinks alcohol do they tobecome a rapist or a victim blamed by societythat the victim deserved or should be blamed for the crime because a victim was drinking What about the victim who was not drinking?Do they to have tobe blamed for the crime of the perpetratorspremeditated violent act of crime? Is a perpetrator who hides behind a bush, apartment building, car, truck, (etc) and sober more of a perpetrator or less of a perpetrator because he/she did a premeditated act of Violet crime without alcohol? I listen to conversations, maybeoverhear a remark such as, "Well she deserved it she was wearing a short skirt." Well then geez! Besides not only society blaming the victim should they addthe designer, manufacturer, the buyer for the store, or even the owner of thestore deserve blame to becausethey forgot to attach the label reading, "Be Careful wearing this designer short skirt because you might get raped." Where has society learned to think that victims are the blame. The reality of the common sense is only one person is the blame and reason our world has victims/survivors, dead, suicidal, alive, youthsmessed up, victims self medicating on drugs or alcohol or both.Adults male/female can'tcomprehend the mental state ofthe aftermath of the violent premeditated crime sohow can a child, or teen, or little adult? Who watches out for them? Any one of these crimes could happen to you, your child, a loved one a friend,(God forbid. Just a Example)etc.then would that finally be thetime to stop blaming the victim? Would that begin your painof societies Hellof revictimazing victims? Would we thenputblame where it belongs? What would change ourmind only in that moment that its not you or a loved ones fault, nor any victims faultfor the crime committed against their will, their NO! Meant NO! Would that be the first of reality you recognize that it its victims created by perpetrators who are the reason, the blame, and deserve no Justice for a long time. Within time perpetrators will strike again, some will recover but majority do not. It would be hardfor anyone to get a phone call or a officer knock on your door and heara family member, a spouse, a child, a parent, a grandparent, family or friend or even youwere violently raped/sexually assaulted/molested then left to die or left to fight the rest of your life surviving with memories that is a true fact never leave you, they surface from time to time, even at the anniversary date of that horrid time from a year or years it will resurface. Victims are not weak people, they are wounded people, are souls were murdered and our spirits could no longer fly, would yours? Victims will lose who they were before rape/sexual assault/molestation/ and to lose a part of you is a death within your self where the wounds you can not bury and just forget. We do not live in the past, our past of the trauma in millions of ways is what develops us to become who we are after the rape/sexual assault/molestation. There is life after these violent crime but the parts of you that died within duringthe act of a premeditated violent crime, asvictims we do in timelaythe death within each of usdown to rest knowing we must say goodbye for that part of us will never return that once kept us whole. I pray no-one has to learn like victims how to survive the aftermath of any of these crimes, but victims are not weird, mental, crazy, psycho, but we are good people just like you, and normal like the rest of you. We may have visible scars, or invisible scars, some of us will share our stories, some of us will not, we may have nightmares that haunt us in the day but we are survivors. Survivors are not weird people. We all are survivors of something right? Victims will find many good ways to survive but the what truly would help is victim blaming is denial of the fear one must have to think a man or woman perpetrator could really damage a life by his/her violent crime. Reality is here! More victims of every age because the society and the victims and the justice systems, law makers etc. need to wake the perpetrators up and say NO! Means! No! Perpetrators need to be told NO! Justice for a premeditated act of violent bodily harm, beatings over and over, trauma inflicted in our souls, a death within ourselves, the fight to survive from a horrific trauma, etc. we do not make up ourselves, most all victims do want sympathy, or pity, only society's understanding to realize victims don't create perpetrators. Perpetrators create more and more victims around the clock every day. When is harsher Justice going to stop the clock? If we all stand against a perpetrator who commits premeditated Rape/Sexual Assault/Molestation and destroys lives or kills lives in the act of his/her crime and put the reason, the blame etc. where it belongs and that's with a perpetrator who has been given more justice then the victims at this time need and have. I am here to decrease the numbers of victims in the reality of our world that are allowed justice, therapy, often only 3-6 months in jail or released and free to walk the streets. We actually have more perpetrators in the streets free and more victims with no justice behind bars. We have to change our denial into the reality before it strikes you, or anyone you know or love. I never thought it would happen to me but it did. A journey that I walk and a passion I have to fight for victims to be able to be given justice so they can learn to become survivors. I will then see Withinthe death of part of oursouljustice will allow ourspirits begin to fly! Please help get Rape/Sexual Assault/Molestation stand for a State Where NO! MEANS NO! In the act of the violent crime of Rape/Sexual Assault/Molestation it isclear that any of these violent acts are not random acts of a perpetratorthey are Premeditated crimes of a Perpetrator. Equal Sentencing to all perpetrators found guilty, justice in a time in prison not three-6 months jail. I realize they keep perpetrators of rape/sexual assault/molestation away from inmates so perpetrators are not attacked or knifed, or killed. Those other inmates have wives, family, children and loved ones to. But when we were saved as victims like some perpetrators who may have served time were protected? We need to give back Justice to the innocence of every victim who is notthe blame or reason, or asked, or deserved anyPremeditated Act of Rape/Sexual assault/molestation or deservewhat once was their life destroyed, But thoughour lives changedwe are strongand get stronger all the timeinfighting our weakness that creeps inand out of ourlife, but remain as living survivors. If you look within your inner core before you sign my petition realize in signing this you are not revictimizing, nor blaming a victim youhelp made a difference inthe next victims life. Give victims back the chance to survive!
