We have created a campaign to encourage MPs and Essex County Council to support the re-building of our school. The Ramsden Hall School in Langham is a very old building and is crumbling apart. The school is made out of sand stone and this is turning back into sand. This is dangerous as the school has movement cracks in the walls. The roof leaks and the ceiling fell down in the toilets and the assembly room. The fire alarms in the huts don't work, the emergency lighting in the corridor does not light up. Windows from the first floor have fallen out missing staff. The window frames are rotten and leak. The school has had to close a couple of times due to power failure, and the residential area was closed due to it being unsafe. The school needs £860,000 of urgent repairs and £1,000 000 in the next five years to bring the school up to standard. We would like the school to have a new building so that everyone can be safe. Please sign our petition to support the campaign.
