Please let it be.Flag

Name: Peter Carwell on Jan 23, 2008Comments: Please limit the over development of the Hudson park. Commercial develpmnet has already been granted almost unlimited opportunities and is creating numerous private projects in the Meatpacking and High Line area. A multi-use facility for all levels of people, like the pier, should be maintained and kept open to a wide public.Flag

Name: Yoni on Jan 23, 2008Comments: All the consruction that has taken place in the last few years has reduced the amount of open space that is available fo kids and adults to play. This is a great space and should not be for commercial use. It will destroy the neighborhood.Flag

Name: Patrick White on Jan 23, 2008Comments: Please do not take Pier 40 away from us. As soccer enthusiasts in NYC, we are very limited on where we can play. Pier 40 serves as a facility where many teams can play all at once. Without it, leagues will have to be cancelled, game times curtailed, and players looking for pick-up games will be out of luck. Please consider the impact this will have on the numerous players in NYC. Thank you.Flag
