    Comments: I was born and raised only a few blocks from Pier 40 and have long regarded the need for a permanent park and community space. The Related CO's Plan for Pier 40 sends a powerful message that the people who come to visit the area are more important than its inhabitants. We must pull our resources together and fight this plan to the best of our ability.

    Comments: We need more fields for the futbol lovers here in NYC. Kids need it if we want to develop them into quality USA players. This is a great facility for people of all ages to go enjoy themselves. Let's keep it that way.

    Comments: I have been coming to pier 40 for the past 8 years and I would be absolutely distraught if any of the fields were taken away. Pick up soccer in New York is not just fun, its a way of life, and pier 40 holds some of the best pick up games in the city.

    Comments: Pier 40 has not only been a place of exercise for me, but more a way of life... i come here everyday to play soccer everyday and without it i don't know what i would do. Its one of the few nice fields in manhattan and tearing it down would be a huge mistake
